Buying a company can be quite time consuming. There are 2 types
of buyers
(1) strategic (someone that knows an industry and is buying
in that industry), and
(2) financial (someone that wants to buy a good business at
a fair price from a motivated seller).
It’s important to use the right process in searching for
and buying a business to avoid unnecessary delay and, most importantly,
to avoid ending up “holding the bag.”
